The second semester starts on Tuesday, so I’ve been having conversations like “No, you cannot change your PE just because your friends are all in the other section” or “No, I can’t make that change, because I checked with the guidance counselor and she said that she had already told you no.”
And after a busy day of processing the changes that we did make, I was the supervisor in charge of the junior high basketball games tonight — and there were 3 games, so that excitement started at 3:45 and we got home at 8. Phew.
I just posted on Facebook: I’m so tired that I almost stuck my camera memory card in my mouth, instead of the cracker that I had in my other hand.
I still need to do some more work on the right settings for getting good clear shots at the basketball game. Plus, those darned kids need to stop moving around so fast. I was never aiming at the right place at the right time.
The Redhawks won all 3 games, my 7th graders won 40-14! It’s nice to see them have some basketball success, they didn’t have much luck when they were younger. It helps that they are starting to get taller…
People are always asking me how do I tell the boys apart? I’ve posted about this before: up close, they look different enough that I think it’s obvious, but from a distance, even I can’t always tell. Â Thankfully, in sports, I can rely on their jersey numbers, the only reason I know it’s Will in the picture is that it’s number 11.
Mom says
well gosh darn, no wonder you didn’t answer your home phone or your cell phone when I tried to call you at 4:30 in a panic because I had locked my keys in the car.
