This:
It’s by Robyn Pandolph, from a collection called Aubrey Rose. It’s from approximately 2004, when she was designing for South Seas Imports. It’s a tone-on-tone green and I need about 1/4 to 1/2 yard.
I have Googled, and tried Quiltshops.com, but all I can even find pictures of online are the focal florals, none of this tone-on-tone. I’ll give Missingfabrics.com a whirl next, but I thought I’d give this a try — maybe you have a bit of this hiding in your stash that you’d be willing to trade with me? (I’ll pay postage and trade you for comparable yardage of something from the shop or my stash…).
And of course, you probably want to know WHY I need this. Well, instead of cleaning (or writing patterns, or writing/drawing my book), I fell prey to temptation again.
Only look!
Another finished quilt top!
Pattern is Peppermint Swirls by Fig Tree Quilts. Pattern calls for some words (jingle all the way) appliqued on it, but I don’t like what she did, don’t think it “goes”. Pattern picture shows it bound in red and I really don’t like that, but I only have about half of what I need in order to bind it in the green (it was a kit).
The blocks were together, I needed to add one more corner triangle, trim it, and add the white and green borders.
Having finished 2 quilt tops, I now I feel justified in starting something new!
Ha!

p.s. i was going to write it as EDGirl. But then I worried that it looked like I was calling myself Erectile Dysfunction Girl.

I will hunt in my stash, I think I have a similar green floral by the same designer but different collection. It might be close enough for binding use.
Failing your finding a match. I’m happy to share with you my directions for two color binding. The green fabric would show on the front and something else would show against the backing. Let me know if you are interested and I can e-mail you the .pdf It’s a great way to deal with too little of a fabric for binding.

Pretty quilt! I hope you find the fabric.

ED Girl. Heh heh, funny.
The black background is fun. It goes with your picture at the top well.

I have 1/2 yard of green tot Morning Glory by RP for Moda. I guess mine is even older than yours since she designed for Moda before SSI. Let me know if you are interested.

A couple of long shots, based on doing image searches of the phrase “Aubrey Rose fabric”
This place claims they have something called “Aubrey Rose Green” by South Sea Imports: http://www.inthelinedesigns.com/southsea.htlm.htm
I can’t tell if it’s quite the same fabric or not.
Another long shot: something that looks hauntingly similar shows up cached from thequiltjunction.com. However, when I go to their site, they indicate that it’s under construction, and if one needs to reach them, call 515-274-0660 yada yada yada. It’s possible that they and their site are a casualty of this infernal recession. As I say, a long shot.
Sorry for not commenting much lately. I’ve been greatly enjoying reading your stories and seeing your wonderful quilts and photography – I just don’t have anything useful to say!

I was sure I had this but haven’t located it in my stash yet – so it may be in a project box somewhere in the project closet.
That said – I love the quilt – I myself would bind it in a red and white stripe on the bias.
