Yeah, I work off the floor, too. Can be hard on the back at this age. And now, I am having trouble finding floor space!

I miss my design wall too but don’t think I’m going to have a place to put it. I just don’t have any space upstairs and I refuse to put it up down with the longarm and run up and down 4 flights of stairs.
Wish I had room for a design wall. I spread an off white sheet on my bed (don’t even have floor space) and pray I can keep the cat off the bed while I am working.

hey, get some cheap, flannel backed table cloth and staple it to your wall. That’s what I did. With Hobby Lobby coupon, it was 6 bucks.
