Debut Author Challenge 2013, Goals

Button2

In addition to setting an overall goal for the year, I thought it would be fun to try to participate in some specific challenges this year — the goal of this challenge is to read Debut Authors (the books must be YA or Middle Grade), and have to be read during 2013. (Naturally, there are a few more rules than that, the rules and more information can be found by clicking the picture!)

The challenge doesn’t have a specific quantity, and I’m not going to try to pick a certain number I’m going to read: my plan is just to read as many as I can, that I find interesting! For now, these are just links to GoodReads, as I start reading, I’ll update with links to reviews as well. I’m aiming for at least 12, but I’m sure I’ll end up with more as the year progresses.

  1. Splintered by A.G. Howard
  2. The Madman’s Daughter by Megan Shepherd
  3. Cinders and Sapphires by Leila Rasheed
  4. Pantomime by Laura Lam
  5. Poison by Bridget Zinn
  6. That Time I Joined the Circus by J.J. Howard
  7. Belle Epoque by Elizabeth Ross
  8. Ink by Amanda Sun
  9. Some Quiet Place by Kelsey Sutton
  10. Starglass by Phoebe North
  11. Prophesy of Oz by Megan Shan
  12. These Broken Stars by Amie Kaufman & Meagan Spooner
