Things I Like About Cold Weather

1.  Wearing sweaters

2.  Sleeping under two quilts

3.  The doggy that crawls under the two quilts and curls up against my legs

3.  Driving my blog readers batty with obnoxious posts about the cold weather

Ok agree with one and two but not so much the 3rd as my dogs kinda smell hehe even after we bath them 🙂

I agree with 1 and 2. No dog here, and no cold weather yet either. This is Pennysylvania….. we never know what the weather will be.

    Hugs!

Don’t you worry about the dog suffocating?? Keith rolled over last night and Chesty was tucked so close to him that I swear the dog would have been dead if I hadn’t pulled him out. Chesty never even woke up.

I can’t decide if I like #3 the first or #3 the second the better. Yes, I’m being a wisecrack over the number typo. 😛

I don’t mind you complaining about the snow, because I want snow a lot. My husband’s convinced that if I knew how “bad” snow really was, I’d be saying otherwise. So… you have another winter to try to show me. 😉

I like wool socks, therefore I like cold weather. No dogs around here but I like number 1 & 2.

I don’t like cold…. Don absolutely HATES the cold….Cats don’t like cold….last week when it got down to the 40’s for 2 nights, the cats and I stayed under the quilts or in front of the fire (thank goodness we have a fireplace) and we won’t mention that it (thankfully) warmed up into the upper 70’s during the day. We don’t like cold. We feel for you.

Yes to all of these, except your fourth! We keep coming back for more, don’t we?

I know one can get extremely efficient thermal blankets or an electric blanket, but for my money there’s nothing more comforting than the weight of several hand-made blanket on a cold night. I almost can’t sleep without that weight.

I’m with you on the quilts and the dogs, except that I have 3 dogs hogging the bed! It’s Scott’s fault! I stayed in bed extra long this morning, snuggled with the dogs AND the cat, and generally refusing to get out of bed.

As for being a pesky winter blogger, that gave me quite a giggle! I love you no matter what!

Oh, fine. chirp chirp away– it’s only the beginning of November. Let’s hear all that chirping and perkiness when you can’t dig out from the snow banks and the kids have been home from school for 6 months and Mark starts up again with the Ark…..
BTW– I’m reading a Ruth Rendell mystery and the weather that’s taking place has the entire English island under water. Reminds me of season #2 in Iowa– Rain.

    Bah. Humbug.
