I need to go ice my wrist, but I wanted to check back in with my blogging audience (cause I know you are all waiting with baited breath) to report that the performance of Grease this afternoon was GREAT! A few minor bumps (I turned one page of music and it was like I’d never seen it before, and I froze — luckily the rest of the orchestra kept going and I was able to figure out where I was and what I was supposed to be doing….) — but on the whole, the performance went really well. A lot of the jokes went right over the elementary kids’ heads, but the audience seemed to enjoy the show, and that’s all that really matters in the end.
