The boys got these little trees last year, one is dead, and this one…well, I guess it's going to give life it's best effort.
Experimented a bit with where I was focusing, on her foot vs. her face, but ended up liking this one the best, with her sleeping face in focus.
It was time to go to bed, and I stood up from my computer, turned around and…hello, cat. I don't have any idea how long he was sitting up on my cutting table, staring at me from across the room. Spooky.
I know, I know. I should have shooed him off the counter ASAP, but he was so funny checking out both the new toaster oven and my eggs that I couldn't help myself. (Our old toaster just…died. No warning. So I got a new, fancy toaster oven for an early Mother's Day present.)
We have had such odd weather -- and Mark's been so busy, that sometimes he has had to go out and mow, but all bundled up because it was so cold and windy!
