Work Experience
- 6 years as a secretary for a rural public school system (job duties included the creation and maintenance of our website and responsibility for all social media accounts and posts)
- 10 years as the owner/operator of a machine quilting business working for hundreds of customers.
- Self-published two books about machine quilting designs. I lost count, but sold at least 5000 copies of my books. They are still available as a PDF. (Literally self-published: I wrote the text, drew the diagrams, and then printed and bound the books.)
- Founded and maintain a forum website for machine quilters. Thousands of quilters have made use of this resource since 2007.
- 3 years as the technology manager for a bank.
- 2 years as a systems engineer for a company that sold and installed computers and networks for businesses and schools.
