Top Ten Books I Wouldn’t Mind Santa Bringing Me

So, last week’s top 10 list was super fun, and after visiting lots of the other lists, via The Broke and the Bookish, I ended up adding way too many books to my to-read list.

I suspect the same thing will happen this week…as we talk about the  Top Ten Books I Wouldn’t Mind Santa Bringing Me.

I am stunned to find that this is MUCH harder than I expected. I currently have 188 books on my To Read List at Goodreads, and pulling just 10 off the list feels nearly impossible! These are in no particular order, and I’m not even going to try to justify why they are on the list. I could throw a dart at the entire list and would be happy girl.

A Face Like Glass by Frances Hardinge

Fairy Tales from the Brothers Grimm: A New English Version by Phillip Pullman

The Cavendish Home for Boys and Girls by Claire Legrand

The Search for the Red Dragon (The Chronicles of the Imaginarium Geographica #2) by James A. Owen

The Friday Society by Adrienne Kress

Scarlet by A.C. Gaughan

Princess of the Midnight Ball (Princess #1) by Jessica Day George

Across the Universe (Across the Universe #1) by Beth Revis

Larklight (Larklight #1) by Phillip Reeve

We Have Always Lived in the Castle by Shirley Jackson

Ask me again tomorrow, and my list will be completely different, I’m sure. So, instead of books, I wouldn’t argue if Santa brought me a big fat gift card to a bookstore…

Ooo, I really liked Princess of the Midnight Ball. I thought the second book (Princess of Glass) was a bit of a let down, but I liked the third book. I really like Jessica Day George. Have you read Sun and Moon, Ice and Snow by George? I love it.

I haven’t read anything by George, yet…so…I guess I’ve got some reading to do!
