Sweatshop

Because I don’t want the nasty picture of my thread yuck to be on the home page, I’m going to quick add another post with a much nicer picture:

My assistant

More than 2 weeks ago I got almost 50 new bolts of fabric, none of which is one the website yet, because I haven’t had time to scan it.

I don’t know what made me think of it, but it dawned on me that one of mytwerps ought to be able to manage scanning fabric for me, and this afternoon, I put Will to work.

He did pretty well, except there might be a few that need to be redone because he was experimenting with leaving the scanner cover open.  NOT complaining.  The work is getting done, and I was able to do something else.

He’ll probably expect to get paid.  They don’t seem to think that continuing to be allowed to eat my food and sleep in my house is enough compensation.

It wouldn’t be a sweatshop if you called them your peeps, instead of twerps! Also, if they are your peeps they will want to work for free!

Well…pay wouldn’t be all that bad…AT least you could work on something else while that was being done! 🙂 Yep, the bonus of not having to sit there yourself and do it whould be worth something…(how did I do Will?) ROFLOL!
