It’s harvest time here in Iowa — Mark and the boys were out combining Soybeans on Sunday afternoon. For at least a little while, the boys were allowed to play IN the grain truck, and came home with shoes full of beans. They were conscientious about checking the shoes, but I think they missed the myriad pockets on Will’s cargo pants.

I know what you need to help with your crankiness! You need to go to Des Moines to the AQS show. It’s like fabric therapy; something we all need at times. I went yesterday and will go back Saturday. Actually, I would go back today but I am required to work. This show will be in Des Moines through Saturday and truly requires 2 or 3 days to see it all. When AQS schedules a show, they do it for 3 years in the same place. Already I can hardly wait for next year’s show!!! Perhaps you need a day for yourself at a quilt show.
