A box!
Hmm. What could it be?
Really? That logo? Here? In the possession of Suzanne, The Avowed PC User?
Whoa Nelly.
I’d forgotten how big it was. That is 24 inches of Screen Real Estate, folks.
Now, lest you think I’ve won the lottery and suddenly have money to throw away on computers, I do have to admit that this is a gift from my sister. She and her husband got a new one and I got this one. I’m not sure why they got a new one, because this one is not that old. Not that I’m complaining.
It feels weird to own a Mac after all these years of PC ownership. I’ve never really been rabid about it, I’ve always accepted that other people like different things and that some people were weird and liked Macs better than PCs. Here I am, though, giving it a whirl.
It’ll take me awhile to get used to the Apple Key. I keep wanting to use CTRL (pinky-Z… shoot, that doesn’t do anything).
I’m still not sure if this is staying here or going home, but here it is.
Don’t tell my sister, but I think I’m going to really like it.

Too late, your sister reads your blog. Who you really shouldn’t tell his my husband. 🙂

LOL. Welcome to the club. I made the switch a few years back when my nephew sold me his iBook. I’ve since moved on to a bigger, faster iBook. The rest of my family looks down their nose at me but I don’t care. I get the last laugh while watching them wipe their hard drives clean and reinstall all their programs after an infection. ;cD

(Catching up on various posts.)
It’s beautiful. Whether or not you like it (I’m admittedly a Mac person), it looks classy!
