About the poles…how are making a cover of fabric that closes via a velcro strip? You can gather it so it looks like a scrunchy and have different “coverings” for different seasons, e.g. patriotic, Christmas, Easter, Valentines, St. Pat’s, etc… Just a thought. 😉
