I mentioned last week that I was getting my pictures taken. I got to look at some proofs last night, and have a photo to share!
Molly Clubb, MoCo Creative Services is the photographer.
I’ve learned several things about myself:
1. It’s hard to look at pictures of yourself and not be critical.
2. You can’t tell so much in this one, but I am really pale. I knew I was fair, but egads. LOL
3. Pictures of me smiling are nearly always better than ones of me trying to look serious.
I’ve shared the link to the proofs with several friends and family members, and am relying on them to help me decide which are the best. I get to pick 10 and it’s going to be tough to do!

Suzanne, I love the picture. You look beautiful….as always…..and I love the way the photographer draped the quilts. What a great photo!
You are absolutely beautiful! It would be very hard not to smile with all of the pretty quilts surrounding you. And I must add that I do not see pale at all.
I’m always critical of photos of myself too – I tend to delete a lot of the unflattering ones before they ever leave the camera!
This one looks great – I love the way you’re surrounded by your quilts.
you look beautiful!!! Don’t be so critical… but I do understand the reluctance about photos. Everytime I see a picture of me, I want to call the plastic surgeon!! LOL
You look great in the picture Suzanne. I love the quilts and how they photographed you with them.
It’s a terrific picture! How cool to be surrounded by many of your beautiful quilts.
Love the photo of you. And Suzanne…EVERYONE is pale in Iowa this time of year! 🙂
What a mischievous smile you have! Great picture!
You look like the ‘Queen of Quilts’ in that photo…you are just radiant! And don’t worry about pale…I’m a Floridian and I’m pale …only the tourists have a tan…LOL.
Anyway, great picture…what a wonderful gift for yourself and for your family.
I’m so glad I checked out your blog……the photo is great and I’ve enjoyed catching up on your posts.
What a wonderful photo! You look beautiful.
Ah, to have a waistline …
Suzanne, I think that is a really great photo of you! Please don’t be critical of yourself, although I know I am of myself as well. The photographer did a great job, the shot looks very professional. What a wonderful memento.
PS, I am loving your digital scrapbooking
You look lovely!!
Looove it! What a great picture. And um excuse me – I thought Iowa was in the land of snow – not beach… how do you expect to be tanned?? Goofy girl! Thats a great picture!!
I LOVE that you are surrounded by your quilts! You take a great picture…it’s like listening to a recording of yourself…only you think you sound strange, lol.
How could you/we NOT be pale after this winter in Iowa! (Btw I am ghost pale too, all the time…I am physically incapable of any sort of tanning, I am that melanin-deficient).
Have fun picking your top 10!
I love that you had you photo takes with your quilts.
BTW you were in an altered book swap with my friend. (I saw what you did in two books – nice job!)
