Instead of a Snow Day, we have an Ice Day today.  The gravel roads are sheets of ice, and since so many of our school’s students are from farms and outlying communities….no school.

The boys were excited to stay home until they learned that they were going to have to have to have their haircut and get their picture taken for the front of this year’s Christmas cards.

Today’s Journal Your Christmas promptwas about cards, and I decided to go ahead and take the time to actually make our cards.   More on that (and today’s page) later.

p.s.  The UPS truck was here with an important package.  Luckily the boys were in the basement and completely unaware of the delivery, so the knowledge of their big gift remains safe.
