The painted boxes on the wall was from Ali Edwards.  The idea was actually originally from Martha Stewart.  I’ve also seen these done with circle boxes.  Very cute.

The baby sock advent calendar was another Martha Stewart find.

Another advent calendar that I’ve seen that I really like is on Kate’s blog.  It’s a quilted wallhanging and she has small quiltlets to attach for each day.

The fabric calendar we use was a panel that I got at Hobby Lobby many moons ago.  I think I had the panel for 2 or 3 years before I actually got around to cutting out and sewing up all of the little pockets.
