I think it’s fascinating to see what search terms sometimes lead people to my blog.
Some I understand, some, though, make me scratch my head, and I feel compelled to go to Google to figure out what post they ended up at.
Like this one, from this morning:
Where to find tulle in Houston
I’m really sorry to the person that visited my blog via that particular search string, because clearly I have no idea where you can find tulle in Houston. I hope you found a source.
(And for the record, the post that that search phrase brought them to was my post about my journal quilt that went to Houston. It had a layer of tulle).
Yesterday, this phrase had me laughing a bit:
are piano recitals really important
Again, I’m pretty sure my blog didn’t help with the answer, but for the record, I would have to say that yes, I think piano recitals are very important. I think it’s important for kids to take the time and effort to work on a particular piece of music enough that it is suitable for public performance. I know that I’m not teaching concert pianists, but I think it’s important for the kids to have a chance to show their friends and family the fruits of their labor.
Better get cracking, more quilting to do! Quilts to bind! Messes to clean up!

What do you use to find the search terms people use? Just curious. I used to have Blog Patrol, but they shut down, at least temporarily, and the one I use now doesn’t provide that info.

I like to track that, too. Some are really funny. I get lots of hits from people looking for caterpillars with orange antennas…LOL.

Oh Suzanne, I love to read these too from time to time! They are pretty funny. Right now, I’m getting a lot of hits from Google images searches.
