Today turned out completely differently than what was originally planned — I was supposed to be driving to the airport to pick up my sister and her family, but….they missed their flight…and couldn’t get another flight today.  They’ll be flying in tomorrow — just in time for my cousin’s wedding.  I have to head out the door soon to the rehearsal — I’m singing 2 songs.  I hope I don’t sound too dorky.  One is “A Moment Like This” — the song that Kelly Clarkson sang when she won American Idol it’s first season.

So instead of all that driving, I ended up hanging out at home not accomplishing much of anything.

I actually don’t have a whole lot of anything to say, but I just got the mail and I had a surprise waiting for me: a package of goodies from Lynn!

I have a bit of a thing for Tinkerbell.  Do you suppose the boys will be willing to play card games with me with Tink cards?  I’ll just have to take them with me when I go to qiult shows where I’ll be seeing Lynn, so we can play cards in our free time (ha!)

The yellow fiber art piece is a business card holder — it is way cool.  You pull the ribbon and it pops up the business card!

Now I feel all guilty about threatening to stop being her friend after she posted a picture of me on her blog the other day.   (VBG)

I’ve got another picture to share, but I want to warn you that this is a bug picture, and people who don’t like bugs should skip it.

I was heading inside the other day after returning home from a car trip.  I did a huge double-take as I walked past the front of my car, as I found this fellow hitching a ride inside my garage:

I wish my car were cleaner, or that I knew how to use Photoshop to clean it up digitally.

Kind of gross, but it in a really cool kind of way.
