I’m participating in a postcard swap. The first two pieces of art have arrived. The theme is New Beginnings. The first is from AnnMarie:
I had the pleasure of meeting AnnMarie at Innovations this past weekend in Tacoma. I was incredibly touched and surprised when she said she had something for me. Isn’t this little piece darling? There is even a tiny hanging sleeve on the back. Need to find a dowel and a place to hang this!
The second card is from Gretchen:
I can’t wait to see what everyone else has done — these are just awesome!
I can’t wait to see what I will do — I’m running out of time!
Apparently what I needed to do in order to feel better was (a) whine about it on my blog (b) go see my chiropractor and (c) spend more time in bed with ice on my neck and back. I feel a lot better than I did this morning, although I do feel a bit like I got beat up on by the chiropractor. More ice and more rest and I should be back to normal by tomorrow. Or maybe the day after. (Hey. Don’t laugh. I do normal…once in awhile.)

(quit laughing, I can still hear you)
I’m glad you are posting the Group 1 cards. Love them! And what a nice gift from AnnMarie. Glad you are felling better.
It’s not funny when you feel like you’re going to drop dead any minute, so I’m not laughing-I swear!

Those are all beautiful!! Thanks for taking the time to share them!! And I am really glad you feel better!!
Your class was fantastic! You are a generous and kind teacher. Thanks. You can use an apple tree branch from your yard to hang the little quilt. I actually taped mine to my cabinet. AnnMarie
How pretty these are! When I see cards like this, I always think, “Why can’t I think of that?” Thanks for posting–and thanks for visiting my blog.
Ooo– yummy postcards!
Glad to hear you joking around again– it must mean you’re on the mend!
I chatted a bit with Suzanne today, and I can definitely say she’s on the mend! She was feeling quite fiesty and gave me quite a ration of doo doo! 😉 LOVE the postcards!
Great postcards- and I love the piece by AnnMarie!
! Suzanne, if you ever just want to vent about your neck and what to do, give me a call! I’m about 9 years out from a 3 level fusion and doing great! Before resorting to surgery, I tried everything to help make it better and strengthen the supportive muscles. Have you tried PT yet or recently?
Hugs, Carla
Um…normal is highly overrated. I prefer — eccentric myself!
Lovely pieces of mini art in the mail though!
Love those post cards. I wish I had more time in my day…those look like fun to make.
Love all the hearts!
