Couldn’t get that one to upload yesterday.
And here is the scrap quilt I’ve been piecing, the center is all put together:
I’ve been calling it Confetti, but as I mentioned in yesterday’s post, I think it’s going to be renamed. I was contemplating borders, binding and backing, and remembered that I have this cute crayon fabric. I’m still not exactly sure whether the fabric will be a border or part of a backing, but the quilt is going to be named something like:
The Whole Box (of crayons)
All the Colors in the Box
I am sitting here writing this post because I’m trying to avoid finishing the quilt on the frame. 42 large blank blocks, over half are done, but they seem like they are taking forever. Plus, I have to figure out the sashing and cornerstones yet, too. I’d better go get it finished so I can quilt my crayon box quilt.
Babble at you later –

Suzanne, both of the quilts are great. It looks like procrastination is the name of the game this afternoon.

Nice quilting – you know that’s my favorite motif! Love the crayon quilt – the sashing/backing fabric is a perfect compliment!

I love both the quilts but if you ever get tired of Confetti you could give it to me………that way i won’t feel obligated to make myself one!!!

This is the perfect border for the quilt – and the new piece is the perfect backing! My favorite kind of quilt – really, really scrappy.
