Where does the day go?

Another day gone and I don’t feel I have much to show for it.  I do have cupboards full of food to feed my family — why do they think they need to eat all the time???  There were some flurries while we up in Waterloo talking to our financial advisor and eating supper.  On the way to get new boots and groceries, the roads were very very slick.  Thankfully the drivers around us seemed to be taking their time and being careful.

And speaking of boots — what can I do to the boys to get their feet to stop growing?  Good grief.  When we bought shoes at the beginning of the school year, I’m pretty sure we were looking at 3s or 3.5s.  Joe’s feet measured at a 4.5 tonight.

I did get some quilting done today.  I was excited last night thinking that I only had 3 more customer quilts.  Today I cleaned out my e-mail inbox and got a phone call and between the 2 things discovered not 1, but 3!!!! quilts that I had promised to do and forgotten about.  So, the list is back up to 6.  Not all need to be done before Christmas, thankfully, but I hope I haven’t forgotten about anything else.

I also spent about an hour on the new book today.  I’m getting excited about it again — had some ideas about how to organize it, so I’ll probably try to spend more time each day on that as well.

For today’s picture, since I don’t have any artwork or quilting to share, I thought I’d bring another blast from the Christmas past — the boys posing for Christmas photos in 2002Pc060021:
