You might have luck finding a copy at one of the longarm suppliers, but I won’t guarantee it.

I am working on making the material available as a PDF, but it might be awhile before that is ready.

IMHO offering a book loaded with illustrations available as a PDF download is a poor idea. I wish you would reconsider.

I would much rather buy a book from you than stress my printer here at home.

I appreciate your feedback. The thing is: I have had printed books available for going on 6 years now (the first book came out in 2006, the 2nd in 2007), and it was just time to be done with printing books at the price people are willing to pay for them. I work a full time job now and it’s been really hard for me to continue justifying the current situation.

A PDF is what I would consider a compromise between selling books and not having the information available at all, because that’s the only other choice at this point.

I will probably still offer to print a book and mail it, but it will be at a pretty big premium.

You might still be able to find a copy at http://www.sewthankful.com as I did just mail a few to them.

Again, thanks for your feedback and happy quilting!

Hi Suzanne, I have your meandering magic book. LOVE IT!!! Thank you. OK I have a question — heard through the grapevine you might be able to help me. I am looking seriously for either a sewing machine or binding attachment thingy that is focused on attaching bindings to quilts (both sides) at the same time. Where the attachment folds the fabric in half and feeds it through and binds it on the edges. I want to start looking for something that is proven to work well. I don’t have a serger. Do sergers do this? I’m willing to buy a machine dedicated to attaching these bindings. I will be using this to make small wallhangings and table runners and place mats and things like this.

I wish you had a DVD on your style. Saw you on Quilt It! and loved your method. I do not know what a pdf book is. Why is it only $12.99 and the books are more? Sounds like something that would come over the computer. Really rather have a DVD.

Ordered your PDF format book from Lulu and paid for it. Adobe Reader says the file is corrupt and cannot be downloaded. Can you help?

Instagram post 2196129456853187803_15732201 Reputation is what other people know about you. Honor is what you know about yourself. —Lois McMaster Bujold, my absolute favorite author, has been named a SFEA Grand Master. This is from her book A Civil Campaign. I think about this concept a lot. For my #carvedecember carving, I meant the rays to be shallower, but I slipped. I’m also terrible at lining them up. #thepainteddiaries#suzanne_365
Instagram post 2195863854498559253_15732201 The prompt was tea time, but I don’t do tea or coffee, so hot cocoa it was! I found this mug shortly after signing up for @everythingartuk’s Wanderlust 2020. While drinking and reading, I felt like I was being watched. I think he thought I had ice cream in my mug and was waiting for his turn. #kasiasadventcalendar #suzannesadventjournal #suzannegetsmessy#getmessyartjournal #dailyhobbes
Instagram post 2195281820554277242_15732201 White on white. I did some journaling with a clear Glaze pen on the predecorated page. The words are modeling paste through a stencil. My intention was to do some more layering after it was dry, but I kinda like it like this, so I’m going to leave it for now! #kasiasadventcalendar #suzannesadventjournal #thelayeredpage #suzannegetsmessy #getmessyartjournal
Instagram post 2195188434409354745_15732201 On my walk, I picked up some things to use for mark making. I liked the line quality of the big fat stock the best. The cornstalk worked pretty well to spread some gesso around. The ok scone wasn’t super successful, it’s too closed up for defined marks, I think. Words are from a Jane Davenport sticker set. #kasiasadventcalendar #suzannesadventjournal #suzannegetmessy #getmessyartjournal #thelayeredpage
Instagram post 2195138742887561650_15732201 Katie and I bundled up and took a walk around the yard the other day, at @kasiaavery’s instruction. Well, I bundled. Chilly, but pretty out and I kept moving. Swipe for the photo I snapped of her and my house in the afternoon light. #kasiasadventcalendar #suzannesadventjournal #thelayeredpage #suzannegetsmessy #getmessyartjournal
Instagram post 2194629814697133317_15732201 “If you can’t be a good example you’ll have to serve as a horrible warning.” I am working on a top secret quilting project and everything that could go wrong with a portion of it...did. Including fusible web stuck to my iron. 🙄 I finally stopped being a moron, though, and have moved on to the next stage of the process. #carvedecember #carvedecember2019 #thepainteddiaries #suzanne_365
