The boys were out helping again, and when they weren't needed, they were finding other ways to amuse themselves. Such as throwing clods of mud at each other….
Riding home from a game, we were surprised it took as long for them to fall asleep as it did.
Napper number two...
I still can't figure out why it is that I can convince one or the other of these two to do things like jump for the camera, but I'll keep going until they stop….
June 7, Batter Up
I remembered to take my zoon lens, so I was able to get a couple of close ups. Unfortunately, I had scraped the top of my foot when I was on the way out to the spot where I wanted to shoot from, so I was having a little bit of trouble concentrating on my baseball players...
The boys got a new bat (an early birthday present), so they were out testing it out. I picked this as my favorite picture of the day, though, because I am astounded by how high that boy has that foot up in the air. You wouldn't think he'd be able to lift that great big foot so high up.
Joe thought he was going to get BBQ sauce for his chicken wings. Sadly, he discovered that it was not, in fact BBQ Sauce: it was Hershey's Syrup. He did not seem to want to eat the mashed potatoes that were covered in chocolate. THe next day, he went to get ketchup out of the fridge. Mark asked "Don't you want BBQ sauce?" and of course I had to say "I bet he really meant to get Hershey's syrup." Poor Joe said "You guys are going to hold this one against me forever, aren't you?"
