Baseball practice officially starts on Saturday! The boys were out tonight getting in some hitting practice. I was too late returning from my meeting to get pictures of BP, but I did convince Will to pose with one of the well-loved balls they use….
I had ample time and light to get a picture tonight, but once again, it was me and the cat at nearly 10PM, and black cats are hard to photograph with low light. We felt really horrible when Cocoa took a bite out of his ear the first time she met him, but dang, it just gives me that certian extra something, doesn't it?
HS Spring Concert -- I accompanied the Mixed Chorus. I love having an opportunity to wearg these crazy shoes that my sister got me for my birthday a few years ago. The HS girls always have something to say about them…I think it's at least partly because I think they are unexpected on me…The heels are too high for me to actually wear them while playing, though, so I had to slip it off and then back on super quick before I stood up at the end…I would have been pretty lopside otherwise!
April 29 -- Something Old
No, the old thing is not Mark, it's the Ping Pong Ball shooter in his hands. He and the boys found it out at the farm -- it belong to Mark's Uncle. I have some kind of funny shots of him pointing it as face, as he examines it, but I decided this was the best shot…
We started watching the 1st episode of Battlestar Galactica Sunday night, but we didn't start it soon enough, and everyone had to go to bed…the boys were supposedly shutting down and getting ready to watch the last 45 minutes. Mark was rearranging pillows and blankets and getting ready for a dog to jump up and join him. Will's foot really is that long. It's ridiculous.
The boys came out to ask if they could play on their computers again (I'd made them quit to read books for a while…). They caught me laying on the ground under the tree taking pictures from underneath. (Hey, it was a photography class exercise!). They claim to not want their pictures taken, but then they let me snag shots like this, which makes me think they doth protest too much...
