Don’t let the door hit you, February

February, you are kind of a pain in the neck. Thankfully, you are short, but you are also cold and lacking in sunlight. Yes, some really nice people were born in you, and you have that whole love holiday thing, which should be nice, but just seems kind of commercial, and occasionally you have an extra day, which is kind of fun and unique, but overall? I’m not sad that today is your last day.

Especially since I’ve spent the last 2 and half days of you stuck at home thanks to this freak snowstorm that dumped more than a foot of snow on us. What is up with that?

You and your friend January and your lack of sunlight kinda mess with my brain. You make my mental health number drop in to the basement, and that’s not really very friendly.

March can be kind of nasty, too, but at least there’s the hope that comes from knowing that spring is almost here. Also, March is my anniversary month, so I’m kinda partial.

I’d like to stay it’s not personal, but I guess, really: it actually is. Go away. Don’t let the door hit your ass on the way out. Unfortunately, I’ll see you again, but maybe next time you won’t be such a jerk.
