Radiant Star, part 12: No Rest for the Wicked

I was up until about 1:30 am pushing towards being almost done with the stars.  I would have finished, but the parts of the final star were at the shop, and I didn’t think I needed to make a run out of the house in the middle of the night.

I’ve been working on some other stuff today, but this afternoon, my thoughts have turned towards finishing this crazy thing.  The original plan, way back in part 1 was narrow red border, wide cream border, like so:  (A)

But now that I’m here, I’m not so sure, artistically, that that is how I want to finish it.  I have got this really rich looking stripe in the shop, and I got to wondering how it would look:  (B)

Mmmmmm…..maybe….but what about… (C)

I know which one I’m leaning toward, but the final decision will rest with my customer.  Obviously, the texture of the quilting will make a difference in how it all looks as well.

If I did the stripe, it would mean mitering the corners, and I’m not sure I’m up for that…however…after 20 of those crazy Radiant Star blocks, I think I can probably conquer 4 mitered corners without TOO much trouble.

I know y’all are going to have an opinion, so let me hear it:  A, B, or C.
