So, let’s see what I’ve been doing since the last time I posted:
1. Football game — the boys’ team won — 42-0! Their record is now 2-2 and have 2 games left in the season. From the time the ball is snapped until the whistle blows on a play, I really can’t tell what the heck is going on. I try to watch my guys to see what they are doing, but all of those bodies swirl together and get tangled up — I’m sure I miss a whole bunch. I do know that Joe was doing his job — 3 of his 4 tackles were sacks, which I do know is a good thing.
2. Sewing, sewing, sewing. After all of the UFO finishing I’ve been doing, I decided I was “allowed” to start something new — namely a quilt for my almost 8 year old niece. Her birthday is at the end of November, and the quilt might actually be done well in advance of that. I’ll post some pictures later. I think it’s going to be really cute.
3. Rehearsing, rehearsing, rehearsing. Oh man, is there a lot to do between now and the production of Grease. I’m going to sleep with songs running in my head and wake up with them running, too. I’ll to restrain myself from sharing my earworms with all of you.
4. Cleaning! My cousin is getting married next week (and oh, I’m singing at her wedding, so I’ve been rehearsing that music, too), and my sister and her family are coming for the weekend!
There’s been a ton of other stuff, too, but those are the highlights, I guess.
I need to go get busy with some stuff, but I’ll be back later today with some quilt photos and a couple of public service announcements.

p.s. You did get title pun, didn’t you? Catch up?
p.p.s. You actually wanted to read about Ketchup? How about this: one of the boys is a ketchup fiend. He doesn’t use it on everything, but one of the main things he does is dip his pizza. Unfortunately, it’s his Mom and Dad’s fault: once upon a time we had pizza at a restaurant and he dipped his pizza into the little cup of marinara sauce that came with the breadsticks. The next time we had pizza at home, he decided that he needed red sauce to dip. One of his parents had the brilliant idea that ketchup is a red sauce and maybe it would suffice. Little did we know. Many bottles of ketchup later, he can’t eat pizza at home without it.
